Mechanic

We are looking for candidates with experience in mechanical work, preferably in rotating machinery.

Main tasks:

• Inspection of subsea pumps

• Service and repair of subsea pumps

• Testing of subsea pumps

• Construction of test systems for pumps

• Participate in mechanical work related to our product development

• Various tasks in connection with the development and operation of our workshop

Education:

• Vocational certificate in a relevant subject (industrial mechanic, machine, aviation)

Experience:

• Preferably at least 5 years' experience in assembly, service and repair of large rotating machines (for example pumps, turbines, turbochargers, engines)

• Commissioning and testing of rotating machines

• Experience from turning and welding.

• Interest in or experience with underwater equipment is an advantage

Personal qualities:

• Proactive, detail-oriented, creative and problem-solving

• Fluent in Norwegian and/or English, both spoken and written

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
