Mads holds an MBA degree from National University of Singapore, and an M.Sc degree from NTNU. He has nearly two decades of experience from the Oil & Gas industry, mostly within Stolt Offshore and Deep Ocean, where he took on the role as President in 2009. After almost a decade working in the deep seas, Mads joined Hatteland Group, an investor in FSubsea, and became Managing Director of the pump company, Ydra in 2018.

His experience from subsea projects, network and interest in the pump industry makes him a great asset to FSubsea AS. Mads joined as an Observer in 2019.
