Curtis is a seasoned oil & gas senior executive and investor, with a background from law, and with substantial experience in the subsea and drilling segments. He was actively involved in the development of the subsea-tree business Argus Subsea (part of Proserv Group) and in Secure Drilling’s Managed Pressure Drilling technology (part of Weatherford).

He also has background as CFO of Weatherford, as President and CEO of the drilling equipment vendor Grand Prideco (part of National Oilwell Varco), and founder of private equity companies focused on oil service and related technologies.

Curtis is invested in Fuglesangs Subsea AS through Freebird Partners LP and takes an active role in the strategy and business development of the company.
